TUNZA INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN’S CONFERENCE ON THE ENVIRONMENT DAEJEON, KOREA

THEME “CLIMATE CHANGE: OUR CHALLENGE”
The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) in collaboration with the UNEP National Committee for the Republic of Korea will be organizing its Tunza International Children’s Conference on the Environment in, from 17 to 21 August 2009.
It will bring together 800 children & chaperones, to learn about the environment through plenary sessions, hands-on workshops and field trips with a forum to share experiences and collectively voice their concerns for the environment.
The themes of the Conference include, Climate change and its effect on bio-diversity, Climate change and young people, Water, Sustainable lifestyle.
